Shipping Policy
Most orders are shipped within 24-48 hours. Our merchandise is shipped via UPS. Each order is charged for handling which includes the UPS residential fee when applicable.
If you place your order before noon central time, your order will be processed and shipped out within 2 business days. If you place your order after noon central time, we will begin shipping out your order within 72 hours. Please remember that business days are only Monday through Friday and do not include weekends or holidays.
Very infrequently (but it does happen), UPS will be updating their systems and communication between UPS and online stores is disrupted. This causes shipping rates to calculate, in error, as "$0". GKSS is not responsible for the downtime in UPS's system and will need to collect the proper shipping charges for all orders. Note that no credit card is charged before we actually settle the order in our accounting system and usually will be the day the product ships. If there is a discrepancy in shipping (or other) charges, you will be contacted by a Representative of GKSS who will explain the situation and tell you the correct shipping charges and you will be given the opportunity to agree to the shipping charges and we'll process your order, or you can cancel the order at that time. Again, this happens infrequently, but it does happen. Thank you for your understanding!
Damaged Shipments: Indicate DAMAGED when you sign for the material. You must contact us within 2 days of receiving package so we can file a damage report with the shipping company and make arrangements for fixing or replacing your order. Please call 1.888.978.7278.
CUSTOMER SHIPPING NOTES: This section of your order form is for you to specify any special shipping instructions such as "leave on step if we are not home" or "please make sure we sign for package." This area is NOT for customers to put questions about their order, or ask if the parts they are ordering are correct for a specific unit. Those questions should be asked PRIOR to placing the order as we can NOT change ANYTHING on an order once it has been submited even if it is wrong for that unit. Our order entry staff are not technicians and can not accurately respond to these messages, in addition once the order is placed the only options we have are to cancel the order or process the order as is. We are not allowed to charge a credit card for any more or less than the submitted and agreed upon total. PLEASE be sure you ask questions via our "contact us" page before ordering. Thank you.
